April 2025
Psalm 145:18 - “The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”
All glory and praise to our merciful Lord for the safe return of Bro. Josh Sullivan. But now is not the time to stop praying for them. Please continue to pray for him and His family daily. Also, for the church, Fellowship Baptist, in Motherwell.
Working out the bugs.
I didn’t think through the timing and naming of our last prayer letter very well. This “April Update” letter combines both March and April. It’ll get us back on track. Going forward, each update will be for the corresponding month.
March
I want to thank the Lord for a full schedule in March. We had planned on simply trying to book what we could, but the Lord provided above our expectations. We were in 15 meetings across eight states and traveled almost 3,500 miles. I thank Him for safety while on the road. Having an eight and five year old along for the ride, we try to find cheap but fun things to do for them along the way!
We had many wonderful meetings and met so many precious people. God’s people never cease to amaze us with their kindness and generosity. It was good to see several younger pastors who have been passed the baton and remain faithful to God and the Bible. It is exciting to see how the Lord is using them to reach their cities.
April
We slowed down a bit in April, but still traveled just under 3,000 miles on the road (5,000 including flights). The kids had the chance to fly for the first time! They LOVED it! We were also excited to hear of our first supporters from some of our March meetings—praise the Lord! Please continue to pray that the Lord will put it in the hearts of the churches we’ve visited to partner with us in getting the Gospel to South Africa.
Other news and prayer requests.
I had the opportunity to talk with National Pastor Lubabalo, who shared about several young men in his church who have shown a desire to do more for the Lord. However, many of those pictured are still lost and need salvation. Please pray for the national pastors and other missionary families in South Africa as they minister to the lost and disciple those who have already been saved.
Please pray for the many lost we met along the way, especially for one young girl named Lydia. She’s precious, and hearing of her salvation would bring us and her family so much joy. We are grateful for the opportunity to share the Gospel along the way!
