Jeremiah 33:3 - “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
May
We were a bit slower this month, but the Lord blessed in so many ways! We had the opportunity to present at my parents' church on Mother’s Day. I am thankful for a Godly heritage.
Our goal is to have meetings booked, but sometimes we have to drop into churches. I'm humbled and grateful that the pastors still allowed us to present our burden for South Africa. Again, thank you to those pastors! The cool thing about dropping in is that we never know what appointment the Lord had in mind for us. Some of the connections we've made with people in these meetings are invaluable.

This month was a different story on the busy scale. We traveled just under 4,200 miles and managed to participate in VBS and Teen Camp with our home church. We drove straight from Virginia to church for VBS. During which, Holly led the 1st-grade class, and I worked with our teens. Most importantly, we praise the Lord for the 13 young people who were saved! Then, we drove from the final night of VBS to Mississippi and then straight to camp back in Georgia. We had five young ladies from our bus ministry go to camp. Four of them were just saved the week before at VBS. They were thrown right into the deep end, but it was exciting to see how the Lord worked in their lives through the week.
We want to praise the Lord for the safety he provided during the month. But also praise Him because we crossed the 10% mark of our needed monthly support! Please pray that the Lord will continue to put it in the hearts of churches to partner with us to help get the Gospel to South Africa.
Other news and prayer requests.
In our last letter, I asked you all to pray for a young lady named Lydia. We had been praying for her for almost a year to be saved. Her dad reached out to me this month to tell me she accepted Christ as her saviour! Praise the Lord!
Please pray for Holly’s dad, Ricky. He had to have emergency quadruple bypass surgery on the 13th. He is doing well, but still has some recovery ahead.
Lastly, please pray for me and one of our youth boys. We will be flying to South Africa on the 30th and will spend ten days in country. I will have the opportunity to preach at Camp Rhino’s junior camp, and we will travel to Cape Town to visit the township. Pray that the Lord will use this trip in this young man's life and mine as well. I will be going to Cape Town to pray and ask the Lord for wisdom on the city He would have us go to after language school. When we return home, I plan to send another letter to share our trip.
