March and April 2026

After over 7000 prayer cards had been handed out… to my horror (but thankfully), I was notified that I had the wrong zip code for our support address. The correct address is:

Vision Baptist Missions
P.O. Box 647
Dawsonville, GA

“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Psalm 37:5

March & April 2026

March and April are the spring missions conference season! We took part in six full missions conferences and fourteen additional meetings across West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. In addition, we were able to attend our sending church’s marriage retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN; the WZYN Jubilee in Georgia; represent Vision Baptist Missions at a preachers’ fellowship; and attend Vision’s Orientation at the Wilds! All of these were, in their own way, wonderful times of growth, fellowship, and rest.

Our meetings have been wonderful, and we are so thankful for every church and pastor who has welcomed us. We love spending time with each of you, and we pray that you have been given a desire to see souls saved at home and abroad. We have enjoyed our time doing outreach with several of you as well. Raya and Lincoln LOVED getting the opportunity to put together Bibles at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Tennessee! You are never too young to start serving the Lord!

Oh, and I have to mention that Raya turned 9 (we are getting old)!! She had a wonderful time spending her birthday at the Wilds with other missionary kids and not being stuck in the car for a change. I am thankful that our kids get to spend time with other MKs serving alongside their families all around the world.

Moving Forward

We are excited to announce that we have officially crossed the 50% mark!! We will never be able to express our gratitude for your prayers and sacrifice in supporting us. As we hit this milestone of support, we start to look ahead to the next steps. We sent off for the kiddos’ passports, and they were excited about it! Our next big step will be to start our visa paperwork. We have our checklist together and will be going to the South Africa Embassy in Washington, D.C. this summer to apply. Please pray that the process goes smoothly and that there are no issues. The next big step after that will be finding a home. The Lord is already at work on that, and we are trusting Him!

Our goal is to purchase our plane tickets when we hit the 75% mark. Would you please pray that the Lord would give us favor with the churches we are visiting and that He would allow us to leave for South Africa in January? Not that they haven’t been, but things are getting real, and we are even more excited to see the Lord work and get to the country and people He has called us to serve!

Praises & Requests

Please pray for Pastor Lubabalo in South Africa. He is currently in the hospital and very sick. He is in good spirits, but needs prayer!

Please pray for us as we are on the road for the next three months, for safety and the opportunity to be a witness along the way.

We want to praise the Lord for His faithfulness—for supplying every meeting, every need, and 55% of our support!

Thank you again for your continued and faithful prayers!

The Hooper Family (Blaine, Holly, Raya, and Lincoln)
