January 2026

“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”

Colossians 4:5

January 2026

As we start the new year, I like to do what most folks do—reflect on the past year and take time to thank the Lord for how good He has been to us. Truly, we are blessed far more than we deserve, and it is a joy to look back and see the Lord’s hand in so many situations. So here we are, a new year, excited to see what the Lord has in store for 2026—the good times, the many planned miles and meetings, and even the trials. I want to dedicate this year to the Lord, simply to be obedient to Him and to trust Him. My theme for this year is “Redeeming the Time,” from Colossians 4:5, “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.” I want to do all I can with the time I am given to reach the lost around me, and that should truly be our theme at all times as Christians. May we each do our part in redeeming the time that we have been given.

Catching up with some friends along the way!

Updates

So many of you have reached out, said you are praying for Junior, and asked for updates. From me, as well as his family, THANK YOU! Praise the Lord that the small piece of cadaver skin took, and all of the burns on his face are healing very nicely. He has remained in good spirits, along with his family. Holly was able to help change his bandages, and I had the opportunity to spend some time with his family. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to grow in the Lord! I love them like family—well, because they are family!

Last month, I asked that you join us in praying that the Lord would fill our 2026 calendar. The Lord has answered that prayer and then some. All of our meetings in January were local, which allowed me to dedicate time to calling every day of the month. We already had 30 meetings on the calendar, and the Lordprovided us with over 75 more in January. We are praising the Lord for an almost full calendar.  We have just three openings remaining—two in November and one in December. We are trusting the Lord to provide the meetings that He wants us to have on those dates.

Like I said, we were a bit slower in January, but we had some sweet meetings with churches in Georgia and Tennessee. Our goal is always to be an encouragement to the churches we are  with, but more often than not, we walk away encouraged by folks and their desire to see souls saved! I want to challenge you—if you aren’t already, get involved! Redeem the time! Find some way to get involved in serving the Lord, and I promise you will not regret it!

Praises & Requests

Please continue to pray for Junior and the Maciel family.

Please pray for us as we kick it into high gear and have thousands of miles planned this year. Pray for safety and that our beloved Betty White (our van) runs well and keeps us moving. Please pray for fruitful meetings and that we may see souls saved this year!

We want to praise the Lord for His faithfulness—for supplying every meeting, every need, and 39% of our support!

Thank you again for your continued and faithful prayers!
